Quality Care You Can Count On
Jeni Danto, MSW
Since receiving my Masters Degree in 1996, I have provided patients in the New York area with a wide range of psychological services. Life can be overwhelming and sometimes even exhausting, but I’m here to guide you through those obstacles. My goal is to help you overcome your obstacles and problem solve, through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and get you back on track. I provide in person therapy in Israel, email therapy, and therapy through Skype anywhere in the world.
“Change your thoughts and you change your world.”
–Norman Vincent Peale

A Bit About Therapy
Cognitive behavior therapy is one of the few forms of psychotherapy that has been scientifically tested and found to be effective in hundreds of clinical trials for many different disorders. In contrast to other forms of psychotherapy, cognitive therapy is usually more focused on the present, more limited in duration, and more problem-solving oriented. In addition, patients learn specific skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. These skills involve identifying distorted thinking, modifying beliefs, relating to others in different ways, and changing behaviors.

Services I Offer
Making You Feel Better
I implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among patients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which enables one to reach their goals and change their lives in a timely fashion by working on changing their thoughts and behaviors. From small scale circumstances, to traumatic experiences- my services are personalized to suit everyone’s needs.
I am able to provide therapy via Skype all over the world, in keeping up with the trend of online therapy. You don't need to leave your home and waste travel time. All the benefits of CBT without leaving your house. I also provide email therapy, an up and coming mode of therapy for those who prefer to get their thoughts down in writing and prefer that to face to face conversation. It's also a great alternative for those who have trouble keeping timed appointments, or are just too busy.
